My " Doblando la Realidad" painting, Bending Reality, is on exhibition at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara from Saturday, May 25 through Sunday, September 8, 2024.

During the pandemic, strangeness and futility seemed endless.

The days seemed long because we were doing more pleasurable tasks. We were hardly driving, and hardly any cars were on the roads or bridges. The coyotes were out and about because we were not out and about, and the plethora of bird songs was like never before. This painting is about eccentricity and hopefulness that reflect our enchanting Mexican, dream-like festivities. It gives us our resilience. This visual is where joy, beauty, and tranquility exist.
