OF DUSKS & DAWNS These Bay Area and New Mexico landscapes celebrate my affection and appreciation for the magnificently beautiful vistas I experience. Breezes, winds, bird flights, climate changes, while tourists were asking for directions… all this, I tried to capture in a painting outdoors within a three hour session. It is exhilarating to recreate magical moments when light passes and shadows quickly emerge engulfing more space. Atmospheric qualities, vanishing horizons, billowy clouds, fog, and all those trees with a grand variety of greens, decisions must be made quickly. It is fun!
