Poetry was lively, alive, and well with a large attendance of followers celebrating Bob Kaufman’s Centennial at the gallery.
Bob Kaufman was an American Beat poet and surrealist as well as a jazz performance artist and satirist.[1] In France, he was known as the Black American Rimbaud.[2] He is the person who coined the term "beatnik".
Thank you Tate Swindell for the honor of experiencing this event.
