Commitment.

Lousy at keeping up with the "News" page on my website, I've decided to make a solid commitment to post, to post any art making, art inspiring, art topics… anything art, all on a regular basis. So here it goes.

Participating in the Arc Gallery http://www.arc-sf.com/collage-a-rama.html "Collage-a-Rama" this past Wednesday night was to challenge me to do the out-of-the-ordinary, non-representational, non-planning art making. No sketching, no thinking; only thing allowed is dancing with the fingers and materials at hand. Cutting, tearing and pasting was fun and so very relaxing. No brushes! No pencils! I loved it. I look forward to doing this again.

I call this series Simple Abstracts to Jazzy Notes. 8 x 8 in., collage on treated paper.
