Paintings Done on Site in Paris, Provence, the Pyrenées, & various Bay Area Locations.

“The wild places are where we began. When they end, so do we.” ― David Brower

These bay area plein air paintings are a celebration of my affection and appreciation to the magnificently beautiful landscapes that surround our cities--all that the life force of our wilderness offers us.

Our avarice sense of entitlement to land takeover at the expense of displacement, be that of humans, flora, or fauna--these defects are the downfall of humanity. These paintings are a record before nature or man makes its changes on it, one for the better and the other for the worse.
