The exotic plants that inhabit my Earthly Paradise are practically right in my neighborhood: Golden Gate Park! The beautiful and poignant hues of unusual forms emit perfumes and nectars, enticing not only birds and insects. While painting on site, I found myself honing on an excellent adventure of exploring the mystery and challenge of these shapes, textures, and forms while in the Arboretum and the Conservatory of Flowers.
