YOGYA A beautiful experience I had while backpacking through Asia was my travels through Indonesia. The daily practice of early morning Muslim prayers, the delicious scents of cardamom, chili, turmeric, and fried peanuts, and the nightly cacophonous gamelan accompanying shadow puppet and marionette performances by the local village folks in Yogyakarta and Ubud formed the stage for my wild, exotic, unusual dreams. These are the inspirations for these creations.
