One of Indonesia's beautiful and exquisite memories was the early morning Muslim prayers that were distant and melodic. Moreover, the delicious scents of cardamom, chili, turmeric, fried peanuts, and the nightly cacophonous gamelan accompanying shadow puppet performances by the local village folks in Yogyakarta and Ubud formed the stage for my wild, exotic, unusual dreams and now these creations.
